NEWS RELEASE from United States European Command

STUTTGART, Germany - One soldier from Special Operations Command, Europe, was killed by a weather-related accident while supporting the Trans-Sahara Counterterrorism Partnership in Kidal, Mali, July 7, 2007. Three other soldiers were injured and are being transported to a medical facility in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, for treatment.
