BAGHDAD, Aug 31 (KUNA) — A Marine and a soldier assigned to the Multi National Force died on August 29 in separate attacks while conducting combat operations in Al-Anbar Province, the MNF said in a statement on Friday.
The statement did not provide further details and location of the two incidents.
However, the statement added the names of the deceased are being withheld pending notification of next of kin and release by the Department of Defense.
Earlier today, the MNF said in a separate statement that an MNF soldier was killed during combat operations in west Baghdad.
