BAGHDAD, July 31 (KUNA) — A US soldier was killed in the Iraqi province of Al-Anbar on Tuesday, the US Army said in a statement.

The US marine died in combat in western Iraq, the statement pointed out but did not reveal further details. The statement however noted there was considerable progress in the security situation in the province.
