GRAND RAPIDS — Returning to their lives at home can be difficult for Michigan soldiers who have been deployed to Iraq. Some problems require legal help.

"When a Marine comes back, they’re faced with a lot of issues trying to get back to where they were before deployment," said First Sgt. Adrian Lightener, an inspector instructor with the Marines in Grand Rapids.

To help, Cooley Law School in Grand Rapids will offer free legal assistance to West Michigan soldiers and is seeking area lawyers willing to donate time. ….more
